The Department of History has started functioning in the year 1967. The Department offers under graduate course in History. The founder Principal Very Rev A A Pylee was faculty of this department.The Department  has a Museum with a collection of coins, stamps and rare collection of photographs of the freedom struggle. The department organises the founders day celebrations annually.
