National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme is part of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. It aims at giving training to students in community service. 200 students are selected in two units and the volunteers are given training to engage themselves in constructive social action. Certificates are given to volunteers who complete 240 hours of social work during the course of two years.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

NCC training will be given to selected group of students. Every cadet should earn 75% of the attendance for N.C.C. training. Vacancies are reserved for B and C Certificate holders in Defence Services and various other departments.
