Held from 4-7 October 2017, ICSBAM 2017 was amongst the most dynamic conferences on spectroscopy. It attracted participants from all over the world. The event had a wide topical scope. It was interdisciplinary and interfaced Physics and Spectroscopy  with Chemistry, Materials and Biology. It was hosted by Christian College, Chengannur, Kerala, India. The conference provided an excellent opportunity for the delegates to broaden their minds beyond their individual specialization.
